NVIDIA: Adam and Jamie, hosts of the known mythbusters show compared a CPU vs a GPU to explain parallel processing and the GPU drew an ACTUAL mona lisa drawing using paint balls in 80 milliseconds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this was for NVIDIA's NVISION Show

altho parallel data transfer is not always the best option
ide hard drives are slower then sata drives
ide is parallel sata is serial
ide is slower because of cross talk - data on one wire bleeding across to where it shouldnt be and the data sets getting mixed up
sata sends the data one peice after the other serially meaning it can go faster without getting hit by cross talk
also xbox 360 dvd drives are sata
