@Coupal1 why would they have initiative and ambition to fight someone elses enemy. Its all tribal in Afghanistan. The trouble is that the largest tribe is Pashtus who incidently make up the majority of the Taliban. They dont care and why the fuck should they? They are a 3rd world country whos only everyday commodity is drugs. If your poor and starving and someone offers you food and money youll take it until someone offers you something better. You cant make Afghans patriotic its impossible.

I really believe this Afghan army is hopeless, especially if they smoke drugs. Drugs take away any initiative and all ambition. A sense of discipline must be instilled in childhood. It is highly doubtful they will ever develop any. What a waste of time, money and energy for the US Army.
