What a powerful and annointed song. It is Jesus in our most lonely and troubled times that brings peace; He alone.

...wherefore The LORD blessed The Sabbath day, and hallowed it.
This is the dividing line between those who love God with all their heart, all their soul, all their mind and all their strength (Ex. 20:3-11) and their neighbour as themselves (Ex. 20:12-17) and a class of people who do not feel that integrity in the worship of Jehovah is necesscary.
The Bible says,
There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

...perfect in Him.
He vindicated and honoured The Law of God and He gives us the faith and power to keep it 100%. Then we may be faultless before God's throne, through a lifetime of tears and sorrow to be brought to the foot of the cross to realise that we don't even have the ability to revence God. We don't know how to reverence God. We're lost. We're lost! And we need to recognise that.
In heaven (if we make it there) we will be keeping the Law of God (including Ex. 20:8-11) which most..

Amen. God Bless you,
Jesus has come to bridge the gap between fallen man and a Pure and Holy GOD. He was subject to human temptations just like any of us are - with mankinds physical, mental and moral powers having degenerated for 4000 years. He came as a man to live a sinless life - to prove that it can be done, that we can overcome by trying our very best - with Him helping us: not by ourselves alone (which shuts out Jesus), nor by Jesus alone (which shuts out our work to do). We can be...

Total Sadness! This isn't in our Hymnal!
I never realized how powerful this song realy is.. It was never one of my favorite songs but the past couple of months i have been attacked by the devil and people around me and i have been all stressed out and depressed. Not bothered just a little but everyday was being interupted by the mood im in. If you listen to this song and read the lyrics youll see just how much this song can mean to you when youre down. Thank you for posting it.

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts about this hymn. That's why I only place the song and lyrics without showing images of landscapes etc. because these hymns have such a great message . Unfortunately many churches are not playing them anymore , but there is always a remnant that loves the spiritual songs and here I am playing some christian hymns that bring healing and joy for the soul. Peace and grace to you ! Keep in touch , soon I will be uploading more songs and messages.

I would not wish Hell on my worst enemy. The truth is that the Lord never puts anyone there. It is the sinner's rejection of His grace and mercy that condemns one to eternal punishment.

Do you read the Bible? Because what you are saying is not Bible based 100% it sounds pretty but it is not like that.

I'm not out to sound "pretty" but maybe you can enlighten me (no offense intended). Yes, the Lord is going to "send" someone to Hell if they reject Him, but is that rejection that ultimately sends one to Hell. The Lord is Holy and Innocent and sin cannot enter Heaven. Hopefully this clarifies my position a bit. If I'm in error, please point the way, but please don't start off with something like "do you read the Bible."

I am sorry if I sounded sarcastic with my comment. I have a bunch of people commenting without basis and Bible support just to comment, but now I see what you mean. My point is this: there is no one going to hell by walking or just throwing themselves into hell; instead, they will be thrown in hell by the angels of the Lord. If you need the Bible verses that support my statement, please tell me, and I will be more than happy to post them to you. Peace be with you.
