I liked her character, I mean ive heard of parents pushing kids to be doctors or athletes like themselves but a superhero? Thats quite an interesting idea. Just imagine that: "Dammit James! How do you expect to be the next Bugman if you somersault like that huh?!"

She's strong because she's an accessory to Manhattan, and she is strong enough to work as a vigilante. Actually, Akerman did a really good job because she's portraying a character that is emotionally weak to begin with but, as the identity of her father is revealed, the identity of Silk Spectre is revealed.
