@offroadryanmb Yeah, I'm thinking before anyone starts up a jet car on a street they should probably get permission from both the police and for sure the fire department. And in some cases you need to let Norad know also because the engine will set off a heat signature that Norad will see on their radar as a jet engine and they'll think there's a possible attack and notify the Arny and before you know it you'll have F-16's flying over your head to see whats going on

I saw this in person! There needs to be a part 2 to this video where the entire fire department for the city of Winnipeg rushes to the scene of what they thought was a major explosion! That Was an awesome experience. I remember seeing willy getting yelled at too.

That was so awesome. It set off about a hundred alarms in the area, the fire captain decided I was in charge and yelled at me for about ten minutes. The whole block smelled like french fries. One of my greatest motoring memories. It actually blew a street sign right off the pole. It's safe to say we won't be allowed to do that again anytime soon. Cheers and thanks for posting this. Willy

lol i work for downtown winnipeg biz that day was awsome whomever filmed this didn't show all the smoke behind it u couldn't see a thing whatsoever and the fire dept thought someone bombed the convention center it was a sweet day everytime the fire shot out u felt the shock wave hit u i will film it again this yr in august along wiht all the emergency guys that came afterwards and other stuff like that

dude you have no idea what your talking about do you. This is a jet funny car and these jet cars go up to 300mph. It did move and they race at dragstrips not on public roads like you see here. He was just putting on a fire show for everyone. No one ever said they were echo friendly and these never will be.

omfg i live in the pas manitoba but holy shet i was there im 11 years old holy i was staying there for my moms wedding we have to go get wedding stuff we where staying in the p l r the hotel like 3 blocks away then we here like 5 boomz we got scared lol i was holy is that a building falling down
