My mom sold Avon for nearly 24 years. Sadly she had to stop selling because she had colon cancer and it was getting too hard for her to do it anymore. Less than a month later she passed away. It's a shameshe didn't make it to 25 years because if she made it to 25 years she would have gotten alot of gifts from Avon. If she were alive and healthy today she would still be selling Avon.

I don't remember an avon lady coming to our door back in the 80s. Anyways I sell Avon and I love it.

I'm Avon representative for more than 7 years and to tell u the truth I sometimes find lot of fakeness within the whole idea. Most of the cosmetics have parabens, yet Avon helps fight breast cancer. Then all this sell more and more idea, if I don't approve a product I just usually say to girls it's not worth buying. I don't care how much I sell, I just want my friends to trust me and so I never lie to them.

My mom remembers living in a trailer park in the early 60's and having an avon lady come to her door.

These days, as others said, sales tend to be either online or via the biweekly bookets or in the case of the mark line, the monthly booklets.

So sorry about your Mom's passing! ;(( May she RIP! As a mostly former Mary Kay representative, I give her lots of credit for sticking it out as long as she did. Did you or do you ever sell Avon? (Shhh, a bunch of the Avon products are as good as the MK stuff - and more competitive, even when I could get MK wholesale. The Anew line that Avon has is excellent; oh, I currently have a rep. ;))
