This organ is a reproduction of Jasper Sanfilippo's 80 rank Wurlitzer, was built in the 1990's. The digital sound samples were taken off the pipes of the the Sanfilippo's Wurlitzer and are played over 484 speakers. (Search Sanfilippo organ for info.) The Milhous organ and the entire collection will be auctioned off Feb 24-25, 2012. (Search Milhous Collection Auction for info.)

WHAT A SHAME! I live here in Boca and would love to see/hear the organ(s) there. No one is allowed in- except by invitation. How selfish.

@KMNKeyboardVault Yes, it's very sad that it was broken up, but they have their reasons.
The WurliTzer and the Walker just sold for $325,000.00

@wurlitzerwilly Do you know why did they just wanted to sell the kingdom & what happend to Dave the organist that was like his home away from home

@KMNKeyboardVault They are 'feeling their years' and decided that if anything happened to them, the family would go into 'war' over their assets, so they decided to sell early. They didn't visit every day, so it was probably not such a big deal.
Dave Wickerham is fine and recently had a birthday. He was there yesterday and I guess may stay on until the last piece safely leaves the building. He's then going to join his wife to live in North Michigan.
