  • Real coconut oil is one of the best oils for human consumption, as long as it has not been hydrogenated.

  • If you are going to use coconut oil for health, you need to use "Extra Virgin Organic Coconut oil"

You should avoid all hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oil including "coconut"

  • @EnigmasofToday: absolutely, it is VITAL, CRUCIAL & IMPERATIVE that people do not confuse refined, bleached, deodorised (RBD) coconut oil (often known as copha) with Virgin Coconut Oil (cold-pressed, unprocessed).

  • Wow still amazes me how strong of a following the lipid hypothesis has...

  • We are so afraid of Saturated fat and cholesterol that we give our kids low fat cereal, low fat yogurt low fat granola bars whole grain this and whole grain that (pasta bread) , apple and orange juice and then sit back and wonder why they are obese, tired and diabetic.

  • Sorry Pat although I really think hydrogenated oil of any kind is bad for you, There exist no good scientific evidence that saturated fat is bad for you.. Organic Coconut oil is one of the healthiest things you can consume.

  • All artificial sweetners should be strictly avoided. If you want sweet, eat fruit. Sweeten your oatmeal with bananas. There are many foods that are naturally sweet.

  • @tmac13313 Exactly. If people realized the amount of money being lobbied to the USDA, FDA, and other various government departments supposedly dedicated to our "health and well-being", they'd never believe another word out of their lying mouths. If you look at ANY vitamin supplement, you can usually find the statement "these statements have not been endorsed by the FDA", yet they approve Celebrex, Zoloft, Affexor, etc....as helpful drugs? C'mon, have some sense people lol

  • Well thats the exact answer I'd expect from a television show. Especially Some stupid Christian Broadcasting asshole lol

  • did he say Soy beans are one of the most perfect foods? Are you kidding me... Soy is NOT a health food. People need to do your own research. Don't believe the USDA.

Check out the Weston A Price foundation or Mercola.com.

People need to think about what our ancestors ate and eat like them.

By the way Stevia is not fake. It is completely natural and has zero calories, it does not effect your insulin response. And it is 300x sweeter than sugar.

  • Although the woman act like a little girl, she talk with much more common sence and wisdom about food then the so called doctor which clearly stuck in his way of thinking
