@sherbert500 what part of it was nonsense? the fact that the gravel didnt affect the dog because the dog didnt have to turn on it, or the fact that deer are the most natural prey for a running dog? i run a salukixdeerhoundxcolliexgreyho­und, on most quarry.

gravel can be a right bastard, but the dog wasnt on it very long so not too much of a problem as long as the dog has done enough road work and has tough feet it can take a very short run on gravel, especially without any turns.
