When the salmon come, so do the people. The key to catching these fish are getting there when no one is around and running skein under a bobber. If you do it any other way will result in snagged or tons of lined fish.

  • ew... american fishing....

  • @ZedBazinga ?????

  • @stelmon21 they are not biting when they are spawning in a river so your actually snagging them in the mouth

  • @oobernooberguy12186 Wow that is an un-educated statement. That is why I land several fish a day with the skein deep down in their throat. Yup, there not biting.

  • @stelmon21 they do not bite when they are running up river to spawn if you put something f;ashy in their face they will hit out of aggrivation but not out of hunger and i am very educated about king salmon i go to salmon river ny at least 10 times a year and it's a two hour drive

  • @oobernooberguy12186 Aggression, protection, instinction, or whatever reason might trigger salmon to bite. So your first comment was wrong that salmon do not bite. If they did not bite, there would be no reason to fish for them.

  • i am very ,very sorry for tarring all americans with the tar brush as this is by no means true as their are many american fisherman who set great examples all over the net ,,but this type of thing must stop its not fishing in any way,,,, if you ask me or any other person who actually enjoys the sport of salmon fishing ,,try a 13-14 ft rod and a 9-10 weight line and a nicely tied tube fly or something and enjoy your time on the water giving yourself a challenge actually catching a fish legally

  • @MrNinernation That is a shame since we have some amazing fishing here...

  • @zmiali No its classed as poaching here in scotland

  • what a joke these guys are, this is not angling by any means...

  • losers...

  • Glad to hear the snaggers got fined. I live in Northern Indiana and we have great Salmon and Steelhead runs here and I hate seeing people snag fishing. I have legally caught many Salmon on in-line spinners and spawn sacks. They bite if you offer the right presentation.

  • wow ppl r so jelly. u mad bro? lol
