  • Ahh,JB's original band.By far the best rythm section he's ever played with.Too bad he dumped them because those two guys certainly propelled his career into stardom.Imagine if Jimi dumped Mitch and Noel or Stevie dumped the Double Trouble?Or,even better, imagine if Jimmy Page dumped Bonzo and John Paul Jones? That would have been a crime.Yeah,I think Joe's committed a crime.

  • Wow...Eric Czar is AWESOME !!

  • Love this, joe's keeping the real bands alive. from the era of wonderful music. Carry on soldier, we all need real music in our lives.

  • Frickin kick ass awesome!!!

  • @komimakojaketu My thoughts are that this band had gone from very good to great by the time this cd was made. They were just peaking. It is to some of us the best live album down by anyone, anywhere, including Yes, the Who, Cream, Hendrix, Allman Bros, Zep, and whoever else made a great live recording. I don't think Joe knows it yet, and the music world is still discovering this. This line-up deserves an encore.

  • @bigua1428 While i agree with your sentiment, Drama is among my favourite Yes albums because it had a certain amount more energy in bits of it, This is coming from someone more into the Dream Theater side of prog though, maybe i'm just more attracted to the slightly darker feel. Certainly would love to see classic line-up back together though, i want to see Wakeman playing a moog in the flesh!

  • Joe B paying homage to Steve Howe...very nice!

  • @bigua1428

    it's no without him, yes

  • @KorbinX Sorry,I ment the Czar/Kramme rythm section lineup. That was his great LIVE band. And it sounded awesome,in a JH Experience sort of way.Compare that band with the band that played 'Live At the Royal Albert Hall'.That was a great night for Joe's career,BUT the band sounded so lame and flat I had the impression the Albert was way too big a venue for Joe and the guys.

  • @beauhall Yeah, but Jimi very soon realized that Mitch Mitchell was too hard to replace, even the great Buddy Miles couldn't fill Mitchell's shoes.I'm quite confident Jimi's music wouldn't have sounded the same if Mitch Mitchell's drumming wasn't a crucial part of the equation. As far as Noel Redding is concerned-don't kid yourself, his contribution was also huge.I was lucky to see him play live with Randy Hansen at Jim Dunlop's booth in Frankfurt years ago.Guess what?Jimi's music sounded AUTHENTIC!

  • But yeah - killer rhythm section.
