part of why life is of value is that you only get so much of it.

  • I am sorry to hear about your loss. Life is certainly a blessing. Even if it came from chance. I've had my share of days when getting out of bed seemed impossible. I'm hoping for less of those days in the future. For all of us.

  • thank you chum.

  • in many ways the very idea of looking at it as a loss is part of the problem.if a person got presents every day for a year, when the presents stop coming is it a loss?every present was more then one had any right to expect.they are all a bonus that is only ever mis-perceived as status quo.

  • Give your dad a hug for me. Hope he can move on and celebrate his girlfriend's life and the memories he will have.

Loved your vid and will add you to my subsriptions. After 42 yrs of atheism, I am getting VERY tired and impatient with the speed of this world to drop the delusion that is religion.

We have one life to live and I choose to live it to the fullest and treat all live with respect. My neurons are firing real good. Problem is, the patient ones are being overwhelmed by the impatient.5*

  • dad appears to be doing very well.he is a very philosophic sort of guy and has a very balanced view of things.thank you for both your concern and your subscription.

wow, I think death makes us realise how important life/living is, and even more important to the Atheist, as we belive in one life, how valuable all life is.

  • thank you chum.death certainly is an important wake up call, and science so much to put our place in the cosmos into perspective.i still remember growing up religious, the feeling that we are unworthy and worthless, but that god loves us anyhow, that all human value existed second hand as an act of divine charity.leaving behind religion has opened me to a value in life that utterly failed to do.

  • that sounds like some quality wisdom.

  • You've got it..amazingly amazingly amazingly lucky to be here makes me feel unapppreciative to hope for more...peace

  • i am trying to look at my temporary spiffiness as a consolation prize.every day is a gift.and i so far seem to be seem to be holding on to the joy of having received so many gifts, instead of dwelling on sadness that the deliveries stopped.thank you for your kind thoughts and words.
