Make a Teepee from an inexpensive tarp. Roomy, easy to setup, and fun to play in. This is one shelter you can use a fire in as well! (Part 2 of 2)

  • @BushcraftOnFire Hi sir, you might get this all the time, but the annotation says that the total amount of degrees of the triangle is 360 degrees, but its just 180. (60deg between each pole is correct in the video) Thanks for the great video.

  • @cheesypasta

  • I'm going to say it agin, nice job dave.your kids are learning from the best.can you build a fire in this teepee tent.

  • thanks, I'm adapting break down poles that can form two travois that my dogs can pull, and going to hang my hammocks inside tepee.

  • The way you say Teepee sounds funny. Good job on your instructions.

  • Thank you!

  • Some thing else that's great about a teepee tarp, Is you can build a fire in side it. and not worry about being smoked to death.

  • Finaly some one showed how to make this teepee. To me thats the great thing about tarps they do not weight much, and can fit in to a pack. For myself I wouldnt want that big of a tarp but is I can also was have shelter

  • Great project.

  • I have always thought that of all of the expedient shelters out there this is the most efficient. Others can be made simpler, but the standard teepee is the most efficient too me. Thanks for the look. Might go ahead and make me a large tarp and pack it up just in case.

  • @BushcraftOnFire yeah me too, getting a few practice set ups in tomorrow... i went with 6 poles put together in 5 foot sections made out of pvc. hope it holds up
