  • Thanks for your reply. Glad to get an explanation beceause i thought i would repaint my boat. Still, cant this "fleck" be a bit more even distributed so it doesnt look like a newbi paint job? i like function but also looks :-)

  • The black spots that you are referring to are called “fleck”. It’s understandable to mistake “fleck” as a paint imperfection, however it serves an essential function. Fleck is a special kind of anti-glare paint which we add to every boat in the Quintrex range, to reduce glare reflected from the sun on the inner hull. Without it, a sunny day would be unbearable! Fleck also makes the paint less slippery and creates grip underfoot, especially on smaller models which do not have a carpeted floor.

  • why do you guys fuck up the paint job or all your boats? the boats are covered with black spots on the inside.... even in this video?!!?!??
