  • Congratulations to your dad!

This is one of my personal favorites sung by Della.

  • My father Roc Hillman wrote this song. He's 99 years old, has played with Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey's orchestra, Glenn Miller, Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby and is one of the last of the big band musicians alive today. It's great to see it on YouTube! Thanks!

  • To 30SecondsoOfFame...What an interesting story about your father, how proud you must be of him. Thanks for that, and thanks to GoldenOldies101 for posting.

    OneKewpie.

  • @Fegen I can understand and i know why you can,t give this record, song and lyrics high marks because you are sitting on your ears, what wrong with your ears

  • I've loved this song for years. The first time I heard it was on a Dot Records single by Tab Hunter. While Mr. Hunter was not the the best singer in town, he did a very respectable job and it was clear the song is a gem and has held up well through the years. Thank you, Roc Hillman (and GoldenOldies101)
