I would never get on the plane she flies. And if she claims to be a "pilot", let us see her doing a 25 knots crosswind landing.

I had the same experience – got lost on my second solo x-country, as well as my friend did on his first one. Those guy also crashed the plane practicing his short field take-offs, but got just minor injures (plane was written off) and booked his next flight just two(!) days after the accident. When I got lost, I was scared to death and overcome this fear just after getting my PPL, when I bought a good GPS unit.

So look at this brave young girl and welcome back! You'll be good!

@79kavh don't worry, dude, it took me 30 hours to solo, and I had to quit because on the cross country I kept getting lost. looking to go back someday though
