  • Unbearable guitar playing

  • To me, the Rockerverb wins by a mile. It's such a versatile amp, also you can switch the sound by switching the tubes in the back of the amp head (with the small red switch). Fantastic demo by the way.

  • the ampli is perfect, but the guitar player should know how to play rock, sorry man... thank for you video!

  • @Blargaha

Sorry maybe i did not phrase it properly. All tube amps indeed let you swap tubes but ONLY to the same type. So a 6L6 can usually only be swapped for a 6L6. In case o the rockerverb mk2 u can switch the 6l6's to EL34's. You cant do this with the mark1, the mark2 has a switch in the back that lets you choose type of tubes. Without modifications, most amps don't allow type of tubes to be changed.

  • @zamanakhan Almost all amps allows you to do that, so that is implied.

  • @Dragondicer Yeah you did lol I have a bad understanding of English myself anyways so I was just asking to be sure. But yeah I agree completely.

#2: And I meant: a cheap amp heard live sounds as good (or bad, that is) as these fantastic amps in these crappy sounding videos. It's TTK's recording technique which is to blame. The videos just don't show how fantastic these amps sound in reality!!!

    I hope I could clear things up? ;) ;) ;)

  • @mikeygheetarz

I thought my English was good enough to make clear that (as I mentioned in my post) these amps are brilliant amps? They're fantastic! What I meant was: no matter how good the equipment is or was, they sound all like shit in TTK's videos because he probably has no friggin' clue about properly recording fantastic sounding amps. TTK's videos suck big time, NOT(!!) the equipment he's testing. Due to the bad videos you get the wrong idea about the amps!!

  • @Dragondicer I have to ask, are you insulting the amps themselves saying they dont sound more than a cheapo amp in person, or are you referring to just the way they sound in this video? Cause I own a rockerverb and I can say first hand this thing sounds waaaaay better then this video makes it out to be.

  • These people saying how the tonal difference in the mk1 and 2 of the rockerverb is so great that the original is best are irritating. Its the same amp with a dedicated clean channel, different tubes, same tone. Your placebo and cocky ego are getting the best of you.

And thunderverb may have more gain on tap but personally I find the rockerverb more suitable towards modern type high gain music, just my .02.
