Jemima Rooper's done pretty well for herself, though this series (which it's hard to believe was shown on CITV, and indeed they pretty much abandoned it some time before the end of its run) was a sad travesty after she'd made her debut in 'The Higher Mortals' (a quite exceptional film, if you haven't seen it). Significant that they have to give a disclaimer, acknowledging its fantasy world of 40 years before.
