Started 2nd, got punted off in T1 and broke front suspension.
Repaired, a few laps down but thought I need the practice and safety rating to go up, start catching the guy in 3rd, and go to follow him through some traffic.

Maybe the guy didn't see me, I don't know but it seems hard to improve my safety rating right now.

Making mistakes is inevitable, I do lots at the moment as I'm getting used to the game, but I always puke my guts up with apologies, and whether they're accepted or not I have to say them.

I'm life-storying because I'm mad and deflated.

You must've seen him moving over at some rate - looks as if you made a micro-adjustment towards the grass and probably arse-clenched too, but it wasn't enough to avoid that spunkstain. For as long as you are rookie, or racing italians, you've got to assume nobody is fully aware of the cars around them.
