After edging the roadways, the first coat is put down and allowed to dry. The second coating is applied as in previous videos, using a shield, and this video reflects the final coating by filling in the center area and overlapping to the edges to get a nice, even coat. We use a 700 gallon SEALRITE with a 70 tip and apply two coats of NEYRA Paveshield - an Asphalt Emulsion - which is environmentally friendly. Our mix design consists of the proper amount of MAXUM and Silica Sand for skid resistance and longevity.

  • just curious what size tip youre using here

  • Always nice to see a contractor doing the job right! People if you aren't getting a 2 coats method done at separate times, you are getting taken advantage of! Don't fall for the half lap explanation and mopping the sealer on isn't better. Hire a quality contractor that applies 2 coats to all your asphalt even driveways. Check for insurance , if a gypsy fall on your property you will pay or your insurance will!
