  • My Bro-in-law had one of these with a 5 speed. It was fun to drive but it felt like I was driving a car.

We have a huge on going argument about which would win... His S-10 4.3L or my 92 Cherokee 4.0L I6. The problem is neither of us have the vehicles and we don't know how to shut up about it. haha

  • @Magnuspire I have had both. The 4.3 Chevy will win. By a lot.

  • @Magnuspire Yeah I have had a 2.3 and a 2.2L Ranger. Both sucked.

I liked my S10 because it had nutz. It just did not look good(imo) so I sold it and bought a 95 F150. I love it. Full size is awesome, but the gas mileage is not.

  • cool

  • Thanks for liking my cool video. I liked yours too.

  • @pearldrummerbt123 You have never driven a 4.3 s10. If you did, you would know it would eat a 4.0 Jeep alive in the quarter. But whatever.

  • @95beretta It's because it is a v8 just missing 2 cylinders lol

  • The 4.3 V6 is a very underestimated engine. My '01 ZR2 Blazer felt like a V8 when you would floor it from 60mph on the highway. Reliability is very well too.

  • i have the exact same truck and i lvoe it. but when im race from a complete stop im not sure what the msot efficient way to get all that power down is. did you start in drive, or over drive?

  • I have a 08 1500 single cab with a 4.3 and its 0-60 is 9.0 secs

Idk why yours was longer but its had the same power throughout the years and mines heavier but idk

But you 0-100 is much quicker ha

  • Have one of these. Things are quick. From 40 they'll easy throw you back.

  • IDK if its me or what but mine does this in half the time but its a 98 gmc sierra

  • @pfleeger2010 lol i would like to see a f150 do that

  • @TheSteelBlinds Those 4.3s can actually be kinda mean, they have enough nuts to snap axles if you're not careful.

  • @pfleeger2010 yeah i got a 91 s10 and i can haul ass pretty good for a 4 cylinder

  • @TheSteelBlinds I've pulled cars, trucks, and even a fork lift with my S10. I almost had to pull an RV with it once too (not a very big one thankfully). And off road, that's another area where they shine, you'd be really surprised at what they can get through. I've also beaten all my friends in mud drags with mine, just with a decent (not to aggressive) all terrain tire on there too.
