The United States has launched 110 tomahawk missiles into Libya. Where was the concern for civilians that they talked about? The US wanted this war more than anyone else, but only Britain and France could sell it. Memories of Iraq were too fresh. It's all in the timing.
As an American family, we were caught in Prague during the invasion of 1968. This invasion ended Prague Spring. We escaped (there were 9 of us).
We promised people of the Czech Republic that the Americans would return and stand by them.
Today it happened, with this speech by Obama. And what is the difference? Could Bush or Cheney etc have stood in the Prague main square with so many people and said a word? Now the Dawn of Harmony. Prosperity. Thank YOU.
