Tere Foster of http://3DHealth.Net is trying to raise chickens where she lives in town. It is all part of her crusade to get people to make their own groceries rather than buying the foods from the store. She explains it in detail in her cookbook, NUTRITION FROM MY WHOLE FOODS KITCHEN; A SURVIVAL PLAN FOR THE LATTER DAYS. You can order the cookbook by going to http://3DHealth.Net and click on "books". You can also see over 100 videos about making your own groceries, such as raising your own portable chickens, milking a cow, making your own cheese, yogurt and sour cream, making your own bread, pizza, pasta, granola, growing an organic garden and much more.

  • I have uploaded several videos about my cute chickens on my balcony. Take a look at those, too. I will be making a new one in the next few days. I keep learning new things about portable chickens that no one ever tells you, because no one else that I know of is attempting to keep them on their balcony! But they are our pets now. We love them.

  • I would suggest putting the brown bin inside the orange bin when you are transporting them. That way the hole is completly covered. It is only a matter of time before they excape in transit. Great video and an original idea. Thanks for sharing.

  • @e026026 Yes! You are right.

I have shot new footage for my video update about the chickens. I made a lot of mistakes and have corrected them one by one. Keep you eye out for the new video coming soon.

  • AWESOME!! I have wanted to get chickens but was worried about how to take care of them, if you can keep them on your porch in a town house then i won't have any problems keeping them in my large yard, lol. THANKS for the video :)

  • Thank you for sharing this! I would love to have chickens but our city by-laws don't allow it.
