Oh KoTOR.. what have they done to you :(
-
@mord3030 Lol "TOR fags" the Troll is strong in you.
-
@Elmithian Yeah I mean don't get me wrong not everyone has to play it, but like you said SWTOR wouldnt have much to go on if it wasnt for KOTOR.
Plus it feels good when you find something from KOTOR in the game like the Endar Spire and the old music plays when you enter. Sends shivers down my spine xD.
-
@Wotzitify Indeed friend. It is sad how few remember that game. And I don't think I am wrong when I say that SWTOR would never have existed if not for the KOTOR games.
And now excuse me, my friend gave me Kotor for Christmas (my disk version is dead long time ago) and I plan to play the hell out of it again ;)
-
in KOTOR rakghouls weren't a big thing and were easily maintaned by outcasts, now it seems a lot deadlier, like the T-virus for example.
-
words of wisdom.

@Chromie192 But its my point of view, I personally enjoyed WoW in TBC era. But now to me its nothing but a husk of its FORMER self. You may have other opinions of course. This is sorely my opinion.
-
@Chromie192 you dont need proof that game will have 5 mill subs by a possibility of end of 2012. You think killing deathwing for 6-8 months will attract and keep the subs? I would be a complete moron if I subscribe for that. I'd need alot more than that, and TOR just offering me "that" alot more. TOr succeeded what blizzard failed to do so, attract the NEW gamer generations. It was Bioware's main goal (apparently). People aren't even considering between TOR and WoW. They just get TOR.
-
@Chromie192 what makes you tihnk WoW gets any more subs now? Its decreasing, and probably blizzard does not want to share the actualy numbers. WoW evolving? Not really, WoW needs a COMPLETE graphics impvovement (everything, from the single speck to a character) not just Improved shadows or updated models to evovle. They could really, REALLY update ALL of the current models, including characters. But that will never happen, and just gonna keep losing subs. Blizzard cant fight the inevitable
-
@Suplee2 ToR also just copied WoW in like every reguard like I said questing is only handled differently and doesnt it make it better necessarily. Also the lack of progression really hurts the game There are barely any quests on each planet only a handful and you move on people can hit 50 a whole lot faster than when Vanilla WoW and once people reach level 50 they see their isn't much to do This is 2012 look at Tera and Guild Wars 2 for MMOs that are actually trying something different.
-
@Suplee2 I don't think anyone would get WoW just for that pet system but at least Blizzard is adding content for the people who don't want to raid or pvp and such. WoW is just a husk? Maybe now and yes they have lost subscription but stop saying they will be at 5 million subs by the end of the year you have nothing to prove that. Blizzard at least is letting WoW evolve like the new talent system and adding fluff content for the people who could care less about the current endgame.

So...many....ignorant people, can't live with them!
-
ah Rakghouls... ruining peoples lives for 300 years
-
And out of the entirety of the Star Wars lore, the first thing they came up with was Space Zombies?
-
@mord3030 idk whether or laugh or cry at your stupidity. Rakgouhls where a major part of the KoTOR series, way before zombies became popular in video games. Not to mention CoD is probably the worst example of a zombie game because the zombie mode is fucking awful. Left 4 Dead is probably the best.
-
Two Steps from Hell! Always the wisest trailer music choice! :D
-
Although I have to give EA/Bioware some credit, at least, to their marketing and research departments. It seems they've finally picked up on the Zombie hype train that all the CoD fanboys seem to love (I guess they found their "CoD audience" after all), it's just a shame that the train left the station about 3 years ago.
-
I guess there can be no more "lol pandas" posts from TOR fags hating on another shit MMO since now they have "lol space zombies".
What's that? Space Zombies in TOR is canon? Funny, so are Pandas.
-
Look Out BEHIND YOU FOO! RUN!!!
-
@Chromie192 Why would I get WoW with that pet system, when I literally can get Pokemon? It will (or may) hold the current subs, but I doubt people are that stupid to buy WoW for that system. WoW is just a husk of its former self, as in Vanilla and TBC were the GREATEST moments for WoW. And its just 10 million subs, and decreasing. Cannot say 10+ anymore. Its no accomplishment, it had 12 million, now 10, later 5 (possibly by end of 2012), and so on.
-
@Suplee2 BFD. Everyone knows WoW isn't original but WoW did revolutionize the MMO genre. Since WoW has become a huge success more and more MMO's have copied the same template instead of trying something new. The pokemon system could draw in people how would you know? Turn based combat is always great and I personally strived to find all companion pets anyways. If WoW is a husk at 10+ million subs what does that make ToR? Wether TOR is more fun is entirely subjective and worse than SWG.
-
IT IS NOT ZOMBIES! They are rakghouls! god...go play star wars knights of the old republic 1...
-
Zombies!? What!? This was star wars long ago. Soon there will be starwars: rise of the ice cream van menace
@reedyproductions Rakghouls were in KOTOR but of course half of the people who play TOR didnt play KOTOR so what would they know.

@MyHirogen I know for a bullshit reason to. It's Bioware's damn fault for choosing such a garbage engine. Seriously everyone should just go look it up Bioware started working on the game and engine before it was even completely ready. Why else has no other single studio even bothered making a game with the Hero Engine.
