Holmes, Dr. Frankenstein, Van Helsing, can't get any better than this.
what I like about actors like him is that he took all the roles he was doing seriously regardles of genre. yet contrary to current actors, there was warmt about him. actors nowadays almost seem to be afraid to play a "good" person

As a fan of the old horror films, seeing Peter Cushing and Vincent Price talking and laughing together really warmed my heart. Two wonderful people and wonderful actors.

Seeing this brought a lump to my throat....I grew up watching the Hammer horror films; mostly on tv, but a few on the big screen towards the end of their run. Meeting Mr Cushing in 1975 at the Commodore Hotel in New York City was perhaps the biggest thrill of my life. I still have the autograph he gave me...something I'll treasure my entire life.
The man was a true legend.
