  • great video but I have one question how many times are you suppose to do that for? and how many times can u do it for a day?

  • Hi ThePopUp2009N4eva ,

Thanks for the question. I would suggest that you try it for 3 times a day for 5 minutes for a couple of weeks and then increase the time.

Essentially this breathing movement is how we as humans should breathe so we should be breathing like this 24/ 7 (without the hand movements).

    May you be well,

    Piers

  • i cant breathe for that long or that deeply. i get a pressure in my chest and my heart feels like its beating fast, or has a bit of pressure on it. is that normal? is that my diaphram i feel?

  • Hi Charles,

Yes, it is important that you only breathe in and out for as long as you can - do it to your own rhythm and timing.

Take it easy and it will come naturally,

    Be well,

    Piers

  • i can only get one good deep breath and then after that there's a limit to how deep i can take the next breath. idk what's wrong with me. i've always seemed to have trouble breathing..

  • Thanks man!!!When I think about my ex or school and homework problems I get this chest tightness and I feel like shit in general. This helped me get rid of the tension!

  • Thanks for the video. I certainly do appreciate it as I have been wanting to incorporate deep breathing into my daily routine. I will begin to check it out. One question, if you're still around: I notice that when I breathe deeply as I check my BP with an electronic monitor, my systolic decreases for that reading.. This is desirable for me. Thoughts?

  • Thank you for your guidence in this.
