  • great reviews thanks alot! any chance you'll get to review the Sony NEX-7 anytime soon? I'm looking at getting either this cam or the Sony and I'd love to hear your take on it. Cheers

  • @kitezen Thanks! Hoping to get hold of the NEX-7 very soon for testing - watch this space.

  • "Comparing it to the excellent G1", J1

  • @ralfyt1ger Oops! Sorry about that.

  • i don't like this review :( why don't you use white background like in rest of your videos? they looked much more professional.

After watching your videos i decided to buy canon sx40hs. but this one is meh...

  • @iDroid7 This is just a preview piece. I haven't had a chance to get the GX1 home and test it thoroughly yet - just a quick play with it at a Panasonic launch event. Full review with shiny white background to follow soon. Hope you're happy with the SX40 HS - it's a great choice.

  • a serious kick ass camera.....the best mirrorless of all time!

  • @1SpiritOfTheWarrior1 That's the focus range - it means it can focus on subjects 0.2m (or 0.66 feet) away, up to infinity away.

  • What's with the ugly GUI? Also its embarasing that the Nikon J1 has a smaller sensor but has better noise control and fast AF/exposure control.

  • I would expect the FourThirds sensor would capture a lot cleaner images/video in low-light than the J1. With a faster lens of course.

  • Love the reviews.

Thanks for keeping it simple and down to the point so that its easy for anyone to understand.

  • Nice house you have there!
