'A Separate Southern Nation'

http://www.slmnews.com This is a short clip of Dr Michael Hill of the League of the South (the largest Southern nationalist organization) speaking on the Glenn Beck program recently with the leader of the Vermont independence movement. Dr Hill makes the point that as a free people again we could determine our own future - write our own laws. No doubt, we'd do many things differently. That should be our choice as a free people, a culture and a nation.

@PacoMxxN There are different possible solutions. The influx needs to be stopped and reversed because Mexicans are taking over the entire South, to be honest. They are displacing my people and causing all sorts of social problems. But as far as Texas, there could be ethnic/cultural self-determination. Many areas of Texas are not yet Mexican. The same solution could be applied to the non-Southern areas of all the Southern States.

@MezaseMaster Non-Southerners have no right to demographically conquer parts of the South and then insist that the lands they occupy are not Southern. To the extent it's possible they should be sent home. Where it is not possible because they have so thoroughly flooded the areas (like Miami and southern Texas and other places) ethnic/cultural self-determination is probably the best solution. A free South would probably be much smaller than all the Southern States at present.

@BuBzIeNYNY A territory is made by a central government. States join the Union as equals with other States. In fact, States created the Union. Apparently you don't believe in the right of divorce, which is what secession is if you take it down to the personal level. Once a person joins a marriage union they can never leave it, no matter how badly they are abused or cheated on, etc. Is that your theory? As T. Jefferson stated in the Decl. of Indep., secession is an inalienable right .
