"When you do things right people wont be sure you've done anything at all." From a Futurama episode. "You" being God. If God magically helped everyone man would become dependent, if nothing is done man would lose hope. If one is spiritual, one has to believe that a higher spirit helps using a "light" hand, like a good parent. Help too much & followers learn jack squat about helping themselves & learning to see opportunity.
