My husband committed suicide 4 months ago. We would've been married for 25 years in August. I have been devastated by his choice as well as my children. I keep finding these songs that Barlow Girls sing, this one and also Never Alone, which speak to me in several ways. Not only do I find myself talking to God in these songs, but also to my husband who chose to leave me and I still have not been able to understand why a Christian man would choose to take himself out when the times got tough.

@brunaa318 - You're limited to 500 characters so I can't post everything they say. Basically Alyssa said they had difficulty writing songs for Love & War, & one day she wanted to quit the band. She felt God told her that Christians can't ask to grow without hard times, and we need to fight through them because there's something waiting for us on the other side, some purpose we are meant for. Alyssa, Lauren, Becca - I know for us fans, we always think you girls have it made. I know I'd LOVE to minister through performing because I love music so much and it means so much to me, but when I heard "Here's My Life" it made me realize that there is no ministry that is easy when we choose that "narrow" path to God. Thank you for continuing to reach out through your music, because it touches me over and over again, and it's through music that I hear my Heavenly Father speaking loudest. <3
