I took a minor in Gerontology when I was going to the University of Southern Indiana. The Study of Aging. I have always felt passionate toward our older adults. I am greatly amazed at their life story. This video is about an older man that shares his life story with his grandson. He starts by showing his grandson his picture album. You surely relate...when you see a picture, sometimes it takes you back months, many times years. Thos are precious memories. As you can see all his memories are in black and white. Pay close attention!!!! There is only ONE colored image. This video image is of a woman opening the palm of her hand, a man reaches to grab her hand. In this video, the older man had lost his wife and as he was looking through the picture album, his head filled with memories of his beloved wife. The color image represented that no matter what, she is always with him. I hope all of you enjoy this!!!!

My grampsy is 99 years old and I'm 13 I enjoy going to visit him in Ohio just to hear his stories about his life in World War 1 & 2. His wife died before I got to meet her. This song makes me sad because it's so sweet.

this song depresses me a little. im only 18, and people say oh you have time to be a kid, you have time to have fun, go out be crazy. ... but what noone understands is i dont have that time anymore, im pregnant, and im just trying to graduate. and get everything right before he/she comes. ik that now my life is gonna fly by. i know that im gonna blink my eyes and my time here will be gone.

Beautiful video. My FIL turns 100 in March of 2012. I have seen (and been in) his life for the past 45 years, and now my granddaughter is 17 and I see her coming up behind. Then I remember all that has happened in mine...this song is true..but you don't really see it until you have lived a little while and experienced ALL that life gives you..the joy AND the pain.
