Trumpet Review: Merana Pocket Trumpet

Just recently got this one off the internet as an experiment. She was 80 bucks on sale, 120 at full price, and while I wouldn't suggest it for serious players, it works for a hobbyist.

You start out giving it a good review and then everything you say about it is lousy. What do you actually like about it?

@pking4hjg I liked the price, I liked the portability, and even though the quality is spotty here and there, I like that it forces my embouchure to be exact. I have to wrangle it into the exact pitch because it doesn't have the give of a larger or more forgiving instrument, so each note has to be right on the money if you want it to sound good. A year later, it's done wonders for me in that area. Would I recommend it for everyday use? No. Would I recommend it for extra practice? Yes.

Use some Valve Oil to speed up the valves

im basicly geting a pocket trumpet for free because my church has one they might let me have and im in band playing the trumpet so i thought about giving it a try
