asia makes products for America, designed by Americans, but we never get paid, just used
,and its not just motorcycles, and germany did it and still does, all countries do , just somethings are built to last
guess it depends on who's in charge of screwing America, even our govmnt does it to us, its a dog eat dog world, so it keeps getting worse , yea the creed song is getting a lil old toby , but nice video still, get some vid on the 700-720 if you can

Yet another 2T video ruined by lame-ass music. Motor please, Creed no thanks.

fuck this 1920 shitty dirk bike. buy a 2011 maico stop rolling those old bitches.... dont you think they had enough cok sitting on em????
-
I don't want to whine but the frames on these bikes look really thin don't they break when you make a big jump or so ?
-
@cheggers18 they only let you down if they dont love you.
-
@wrenchinremo I understand that, just saying.
and yes, no powervalve, i know what YPVS stands for, are you aware they produce an RD350lc and an RD350lc ypvs? the original had no powervalve..

Maddness! Great looking bike like a bunch of others you've kept alive! Keep up the good work. I missed the look the "banana" swingarm had. cool lines, but weren't nessessary, with the single shock version, seat height could be maintained with lickage. the gull wing triples were cool too, Pioneers in the industry!

@tobyeo Piston port power, that's why they lug to 700rpm when riding. they will pull stumps out of the ground, like you said "without using the clutch" they will crawl! Reed valves came into being soley for HP, giving more direct flow to the combustion chamber. They still had transfer ports, to lube the bottom end mostly

@buzzender Dude, different kind of power! an RD350 is a twin cylinder, quick revving engine, sure they make power, but they have zip for torque. Yammie still makes that same engine, it's what powers a banshee! only a bit bigger. they even made them air cool way back when... you said with no power valve? YPVS = Yamaha power valve system. they did put "boost bottles" on them however. Silly kid! Your Dad was High in '82
how did they produce a "pale copy of the powerband" it isnt an item, therefore cannot be reproduced, yamaha's 2 strokes have been phenominal for many many years, especially with YPVS, my dads rd350lc 1985 produced 78bhp at the rear wheel with no powervalve. you tell me that isnt power.

In the same way as this:
One man is the national champion for diving and he does a perfect back flip but adds his own special twist to it. Hes straight, legs and arms tucked in and lands perfectly perpendicular to the water.
A second man attempts to do the same thing but its not as good as the first, not as perfect. His legs are out and hes kind of to the side. He lands at a 97 degree angle to the water.
How did he attempt to copy the other guys jump it if its not an item?

I ran across this some time back this year they are great bikes I had a friend in 77 who had one I geuss they were a 400 or something then?

In 1977 they made a 400 and a 440 as the big bores. 1975 was the last year for the Maico 501 and Maico did not have a near 500cc until 1981 when they bored the 440 to a 490
