  • You are so right Adrian - some Christians tragically fail people trying to be so

thoroughly pious and officious throwing the bible at them - Jesus doesn't need

need a middle man - he walks with you - sometimes I wonder if some Christians would

really know Jesus is they fell over him. Thank you for the VISIT

  • @takioc cont...and so for those reasons - and speaking now as a Christian myself as well as a battler of depression - just show them your faith in God by doing and helping as opposed to merely telling someone you're praying for them, or blandly saying the Bible cures all worries - because in depression the Bible can appear to have many many flaws...

  • @takioc I think what is meant - and as someone who's had depression this is how I understand it - is that in that state of mind - a Christian suggesting what appears to be faith in an imaginary friend is not a solid enough, tangible enough solution to what Adrian so eloquently describes as that central wildness and lack of anchors. Depression is an illness which takes ones energy and hope and thus blind faith in God is hard to summon up.

  • i totally agree with adrian i totally went through this 1 hundred percent bless him set me free a very special man.

  • I have to disagree with Adrian when he basically says God in the bible isn't the answer to depression. He said all you need is a friend, what if a depressed person hasn't got one? if you can find a friend then yes certainly, but developing a faith in God in all circumstances is the wisest thing to do.

  • @justinsmith32497 Take you're own advice and stop finding easy answers for problems you can't solve.

  • god bless adrian you hit the nail on the head i have felt totaly what you felt at that time 100 per cent brother your a very specail man thankyou for this message set me free.

  • @justinsmith32497

    easy answer? i think not.

  • God doesn't exist, the devil doesn't exist. Stop finding easy answers for problems you can't solve.
