Why dont they mention Saeed Hashemi visiting Texas in 1998 to hold talks on the Caspian sea oil pipline that would have been built threw Afghanistan by Unocal? Well, the Taliban rejected the deal, and the plans to remove the Taliban were planed out. I suggest you listen to Saeed Hashemi's side of the story instead of just listening to everything the U.S. media has to say about him.

It's a violation of principles of academic freedom and the values protected by the First Amendment to deny admission to a student because of their political beleifs. Comparing this to allowing formal government on-campus recruitment is asinine.

I think we have to remember that there are probably some facts about this story that are being concealed. We've all heard how the Fox network blurs the truth. I'm sure there's a logical reason Yale would allow him to enrol.
