Shadowlands Photography by Lesa D. Van Meter focuses on creating portraiture which captures the essence. From engagements and weddings to bellies and babies to high school seniors and families to models and musicians the results of a photo session with Lesa are timeless, beautiful, dramatic and emotional portraits.
Lesa D. Van Meter is a PPA (Professional Photographers of America) Member with over 10 years of professional experience. Lesa offers photography services in Fort Wayne, Indiana and beyond for destination events.
Every October, Shadowlands Photography participates in Family Portrait Month and proceeds benefit Operation Smile. Operation Smile treats children around the world who suffer with cleft lips, cleft palates and other facial deformities. Lesa D. Van Meter is also one of 5,000 volunteer Professional Photographers for the Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Foundation (NILMDTS) which provides free, intimate portraits for families grieving the loss of a baby. Those gentle moments captured in the hospital are an important part of the healing process because they reaffirm the family by fully acknowledging the Spirit and life of their baby. Lesa has also done total body medical photography (dermatological) to assist patients and doctors in early melanoma detection.
