  • You were great! Congratulations!

Hope to see you playing Czerny Op.299 Etude No.19 =)

    Happy New Year!

  • Thank you for dropping me the message. I'll try no. 19 in the future. Hope I can make it soon.

Happy New Year to you too!

  • Wow, so fast. I can never reach that speed.

    High 5~

  • Thank you. You are so nice. Merry Christmas!

  • A suggestion: you could practice more on the independence of your little finger (5). Now you're playing by inclining the whole hand with the wrist very rigid. Try to free it.

  • I don't get why some people just start Czerny's School of Velocity. I mean this is good, but like the other videos I have seen are simply terrible in the scales, and the finger positioning / technique is so uneven. For all you out there who are going to start this book, I highly reccomend you do the prepatory book first called : "Czerny's Technical Studies 30" It has around 30 exercises for the School of Velocity, and improves your finger dexterity and finger strength. Honestly, some are bad.

  • fai brutto o.O... bravissimo

  • tio... tocas bien pero las semicorcheas tienen que ser iguales ...

  • 1 pianista profesional podria sacar algo bueno de este estudio

  • ni siquiera tiene los dedos formados todavia

  • @LVader20 Yes I believe that is the book I use. To get this exercise up to speed you need to have the 4th and 5th fingers perfectly, or very equal in strenght. Hanon exercises should get you there especially the first 6 exercises that have preparatory exercises. For me, I skipped the School of Velocity, and worked on Czerny's etude exercises. From then on, I just practiced Chopin's First Etude slowly, and sped it up. Not only is it an exercise, but a wonderful showpiece.

  • @jumpinjunstins

Thanks for the advice... I noticed that I too have problems now that i've started this book.

I will try the book you mentioned, but don't know the opus number. Is it this one ?

30 New Studies in Technics Op.849.

    Thanks

  • Hey, really amazing. how long did it take you to learn this and get it up to speed?
