This is the second in a series of Tai Ji forms unique to Living Tao. Developed in the 1970's and 1980's by Living Tao (Chungliang Al Huang was President, Jay Goldfarb was Executive Director), the Living Tao Tai Ji Circles are a wonderful extension of the regular Tai Ji Chuan styles. While most people are familiar with Tai Ji styles such as Yang or Chen, the Living Tao style is a broad, Southern Chinese style, taking freely from a number of traditional lines. The form itself is composed of a beginning and ending that run through such motifs as Repulse Monkey, Needle at the bottom of the Sea and Fan Above the Head.
