There is no "independent Spirit" from a movie starring 5-6 major stars and an A-list director. Film like Juno, which are just Hollywood films -a studio- should have the decency to not compete in these things. These guys are established, and yet they can't stand aside and let other people try to get established too. Sorry, but I've got no respect for the people involved in films like Juno...it's like if Michael Jordan decided to go back and play college ball. Not at all fair.

It's really difficult to respect so called Independant Film Festivals with budgets up to 20 Million dollars or that have big name stars in them. Though ofcourse most of these film makers budgets are no where near that.
