The answer is the shade created by the crease. If you flatten the crease, it will obviously have the same angle from the light and therefore create the same hue of blue. Very simple trick that is only really interesting because of the direct and fixed camera position.

Its not that hard to understand guys, the shades are very similar, but when you can see where the two meet then it is easy to notice a difference. But if you widen the gap between the two, its harder to see a difference. Kind of like comparing a very dark navy blue to black. If anyone knows what i mean lol

If all the colours are same, we can't see their lines, which separetes each colour...

これは左右の色が違うように見えるけど、境界線を隠すと同じ色に­見えるっていう錯覚ですね。
