The Master is just as flawless and provides a far more intelligent character study on two very different personalities and does so realistically and absolutely beautifully the entire way through. There Will Be Blood was perhaps the first example of Paul Thomas Anderson having nailed down his own style rather than borrowing from the likes of Scorcese or Kubrick; The Master is the first example of his perfection of that style.

I thought this was a really good, unique movie and a fine addition to PT Anderson's work. The characters were great and so were the performances. Mihai Malamare Jr. did an amazing job and some scenes were very moving. My only complaint would be that it could've been trimmed down 20minutes or so - but if you haven't seen this film, watch it.
