@akiceman25 It is the Katmai Preserve, which borders Katmai National Park. Sport hunting and trapping are permitted in Katmai National Preserve, but not in Katmai National Park. The bears are taught by bear viewers in the summer to trust humans. Making it easy for hunters in fall. And these same hunting grounds aren't that far from the bear viewing areas. It's wrong.

this video lies... hunting is NOT allowed in katmai

@parks2000 I wish I could stand toe toe and say it right to every last one of them.

it must hurt on the bear

@democratichypocrit At last we agree on something. Very good sir.

@JHP717 I never said anything about wasting food, you did. I dont care what you think or what the world thinks. LOL Just as you said, you dont care what I believe in. So we agree, big deal

@democratichypocrit What are you talking about? I was agreeing with you. I was agreeing that wild game IS fair game and "The Bear was privileged going out that way. Much more so than your last DINNER..." Since you're referring to it as food, you agree that wasting food is wrong right? I don't think I have to take a vote for that. This video is about people who kill animals and discard the meat right? Dude grow up. I don't care what you believe in, but wasting food is universally wrong.

@JHP717 Thats your opinion. What do you want to hear? Apparently you want people to comply with your feelings. I personally dont care what you feel or how you feel about me, the things I like to do or the things I may do in the future. Your opinion is just that, an opinion. You are entitled to that opinion and you are entitled to voice it, but I dont have to like it, answer it, or even give you an answer if you want me to.
So how do you feel about that? LOL.

@democratichypocrit I'm saying it's wasteful to not eat the meat they harvest. If they themselves do not want to eat it give them to someone else. Like I stated, I am not against hunting. I believe the LORD gave us animals for a reason, and I believe we have the right to harvest them. In fact I would like to go on a trip once. (After I get a decent rifle that'll take down big game like grizzlies). It just feels wrong to me that someone would kill an animal and let it rot there. Why?

@JHP717 I dont mind people that make comments on here as long as they are the same as my own. LOL. Atleast that bear had a chance to live in the wild and experience freedom. If only the steak you had last night, or the chicken you had last week could experience the life of a bear and the freedom he lived, perhaps the world would be a better place.
The Bear was priveledged going out that way. Much more so than your last dinner anyway.
Bears dont "trust" humans they just tolerate us until they are either pissed off or hungry, then we are food. Any adult species of animal that trusts humans, is certainly extinct. Trust is a very bad survival skill and bears know how to survive. Usually by looking at something and trying to see it they can eat it lol.
Wildlife Management, along with the money from hunters, has done great things the past couple decades. Let them do their job. If they say bears need to be culled, then they do.
