I'm possibly fucking stupid, but shouldn't generals be well versed in determining whether or not war (more precisely VIOLENCE PERIOD) is actually fucking necessary? Shouldn't a general know when it's appropriate to throw a fist and when to hold it?

Oh, a young Jeremy Schaill.. he looks cute

CNN interviews only neutral pro war retired generals and not biased anti war retired generals and don't even consider to interview anti war activists.
"Balanced news" indeed!

Evidently its some kind of obligation to be a pro war activist. As if accurate analysis cannot come from those in the military who perhaps, provide consequences to certain actions. Ask why such consequences in Iraq given a declaration of war by the Congress as is obligated by the Constitution they swore to, what IS that freedom they talk about spreading, when they cant even have their own view? Freedom to not have to say OOPS? Theyve evidently lost the case for war and they consciously know it

Tactics and armaments are not news.
Reasons for, and outcomes of tactics, are news.
Corporate media instead of showing people killed at war (soldiers and civilians) show talking generals, "experts" and military equipment (like tanks, jet fighters etc). Pictures of war are dehumanized, and this is total distortion.

Who knew the "liberal media" was so pro-pentagon and pro-war. Hmm. Guess it's time to come up with new clever nickname.
