Amanda Palmer, best known as the front-woman of the punk cabaret band The Dresden Dolls, just released an album of covers where she re-imagines Radiohead's dour electro-rock with cheery ukulele. She performs "Creep" off her new album, Amanda Palmer Performs The Popular Hits Of Radiohead On Her Magical Ukulele, live in Studio 360. *Ukulele. @ pinchin: The ukulele was developed when Portuguese immigrants in Hawaii brought their cavaquinhos with them. The Portuguese Cavaquinho was a predecessor to the cuatro.

It is a ukelele. It sounds exactly like it when she strums it to make sure it's in tune.
