I Wish I Could Just Say It- Chapter 1

First of all, check out sweetshannadee's stories. They're really good! Anyways, watch the video because it gives you some backround info for the story. Ok, that's enough rambling...

A rainy Monday morning is what led Samantha Jacobs and Andrew Whyte to be friends. Andrew Whyte had transfered schools, because his dad was tired of the dangerous city they lived in. So, obviously, Andrew became the new kid at Oak Ridge Elementary, and even though he was there for a couple months, he still didn't have any friends.
A short walk to school was interuppted for Sammy by a stupid red mustang. That mustang drove, well the driver did, right through a big puddle. And the water rained over the already wet Sam, causing her favorite pair of jeans to become wet and muddy.
Sam- Aww! C'Mon! *Looks at the sky* I said I was sorry, God, for using my mom's bra as a slingshot! ugg!
Andrew- *Walking a few yards behind Sam, and trying to not laugh* Wow, that stinks.
Sam- *Overheard Andrew* Yeah, it does! And I have to show off my hair scrunchie collection first thing this morning!
They both kept walking up to the school's main doors. But they were unfortuntely greeted by a group of the popular kids.
Melissa- (The Popular PPL's leader) Oh, heeey Sammy! What happened? Did someone forget where the bathroom was?
This made Sammy almost come to tears.
Andrew- Actually Melissa, she got splashed by a car. Oh wait, I forgot, I can't use big words like splashed around you!
Melissa- *Mad, and embarrassed,scoffed at Andrew and stormed off.*
The whole "popular posse" stormed off too. Samantha was stunned. Someone had stood up for her, and a boy at that! The only person that ever did that was her friend Heather, but she was a year older and never saw her except at lunch and recess.
Sam- *Turns to Andrew* Thanks, I really hate Melissa. She's such a meanie! Oh, I'm Samantha, but you can just call my Sammy or Sam.
Andrew- Ok, Sammy. *Sam giggles* What's so funny? Is my fly down again? My mom forgot to remind me to zip-
Sam- NO! It's just my dad calls me that too, but it's ok.
The bell rang and Andrew and Sam headed to their 3rd grade teacher.

That was 6 years ago. Life was much less complicated then. Much less confusing, and much more enjoyable.
