@Djkbrox Columbo is a well developed area which has many Sinhalese civilians and is in plain sight of the International community. So ofcourse the governement wont shell bomb that area. But even publications in Jaffna such Uthayan have been targeted and many of their reporters have been threatened and killed. Some of the parties taking credit for this campaign of fear and intimidation claim to represent the interests of Tamils, but its obvious they are on the governement payroll.

Many Sinhalese would not want to split the island for the Tamils. BUT what caused the Tamils to want a separate home in the first place ?well, isn't it because the Sinhalese were given more rights than the Tamils?

it's a fact that they were unrighteous toward the Tamils, which resulted in having peaceful protest to change the laws for equality. but they beat us and chased us away, even went to the limits to killing us, and destroying everything that was owned by Tamils. after many more time of doing that, Tamils were fed up with the government that they took up arms, Which after all was the aftermath of the treatment from the majority , Government!This is purely logical in Fact.
