Gna inherited this gramaphone from her grandmother, Margot Griep. Margot would drive in her convertible car with this gramaphone cranked and rockin' in the backseat.

Although the record collection contained mostly foxtrots, the song here is a tango called "Eine Nacht in Monte Carlo", by Eddie Saxon und sein Columbia-Tanz Orchester, from the 1931 movie Bomben auf Monte Carlo, directed by Hanns Schwarz ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0021681/ )
