My first attempt capturing swirls of color underwater. Anyone know where I can get some clear plastic cubes like that one that don't leak? Gonna have to return those eventually, and I intend to give this one another go very soon.

Done in preparation for exhibition at LA Got Aloha on August 9th. Gonna be an amazing show, and I'll be exhibiting my photography for only the second time ever. Message me if you want the details.

Music is Spoon's "I Turn My Camera On". It happened to come on in the background while I was shooting, seemed too fitting to pass up.

  • A fishtank or glass vase is a good idea. I've got plenty of black craft foam for the glare, and there should be enough light to use a circular polarizer if necessary. Thanks :-).

  • Can you use glass? Maybe with a rubber cowl to prevent glare? I've bought a couple of square glass vases at the dollar store and/or Walmart. I'm also thinking there are some square fish tanks for betas or goldfish.

    Very cool photo projects!
