@KingThracian I tend to agree, but what is with all the vague pronoun usage? It makes your position sound more conspiratorial than it really is.

@wildabeast11235 Not "special powers", but real non-tangible powers. If they want gas prices at say, $5.00 a gallon, there is nothing Obama or the White House can do to change that. If they want to make an extra 500 million dollars a year to feed their own ego and greed, then they will get it. The "war on terror" was all about oil and money. Their GOD, so to speak, stands for Gold, Oil, Drugs. It's simple to understand. They get what they want. It's all about control of the people and money.
-
@KingThracian Perhaps, but is there evidence that these buildiburgers actually have any more influence than is apparent? Wealthy people have a lot of influence -- that is a given. And yes, these are some very wealthy people we are talking about. But besides that, i see no reason to think they have any special powers besides their position/status. Is there any evidence otherwise?

Here's a quote from the 20th U.S. President James A Garfield:
"Whoever controls the volume of money in our country is absolute master of all industry and commerce. When you realize that the entire system is very easily controlled, one way or another, by a few powerful men at the top, you will not have to be told how periods of inflation and depression originate."
His words, not mine.

@wildabeast11235 Wow, you over simplified my entire statement. Uh...The Bilderberg's are real. There is evidence. They got their name after the hotel that was used during their first meeting. Google it, it's not a conspiracy. Bill and Hillary Clinton have attended. Leaders all over the world have attended. Only a small group of people actually make real decisions that affect the world. Some politicians, some bankers and some royalty.
-
@KingThracian Rich guys in a hotel = they rule the world. Listen bro, i used to be like you. I listened to alex jones, watched zietgiest, and was part of the 911 truth movement. I was into that shit until, one day, i realized that none of it was backed up by any real evidence. You can take an emotional ideological approach to sociology, but i prefer the scientific approach, as it actually produces working evidence and theory, which may possible help me or someone else.

@wildabeast11235 Google Bilderberg. They're an organization of around 120 people who meet annually. The 1st meeting was held at 'Hotel de Bilderberg.' The conference is closed to the public/media. They aren't "hiding." Current/former attendees: Queen Beatrix, Queen Sofia of Spain, Henry Paulson (Federal Reserve, Goldman Sachs) Tony Blair, Colin Powell, Bill Clinton. Politicians have attended, but mostly bankers and big business owners. Google it! And yes, gas is high compared to 10 years ago.
-
@KingThracian Firstly, gas prices aren't high. US gas prices are heavily subsidized, and we actually pay very little in comparison to most countries. And just where are these "elite" hiding out at? Prove to me that the "buildburgers" or whatever actually control anything, and i will believe you. Until then, i blame culture and human nature on this fucked up world.
