  • discovered it was because the previous chain was so worn out it caused the sprockets to get worn as well. The new chain wasn't fitting with the old sprockets. NOS sprockets fixed it right up. It's a 1964 Schwinn Typhoon.

  • What's causing that? Maybe the front and rear sprockets are not properly aligned, causing the chain to want to ride off to the side of that rear sprocket? Or maybe the chain needs some chain lube. Is that a Schwinn "American?"
